I bring clarity to complex systems—helping teams align, make better decisions, and build experiences that hold up over time.
Designed and governed a standardized learning experience model used across 1,000+ courses—improving consistency, accessibility, and scalability at an institutional level.
Built a governed content system in AEM that reduced duplication by ~66% and transformed course content into a reusable, scalable infrastructure.
Embedded student support directly into the LMS experience, shifting access from reactive discovery to just-in-time visibility and improving access for 10,000+ learners annually.
Improved usability and mobile access for a multi-agency public platform by designing within legacy CMS constraints and introducing scalable design patterns.
Modernized a high-trust public archive by designing a responsive, scalable system that preserved historical integrity while improving access across devices.
I’m a UX leader and systems designer with over a decade of experience working in higher education, federal, and mission-driven environments.
Much of my work focuses on helping organizations operate at scale. I design the systems, standards, and structures that allow teams to deliver consistent, accessible experiences across complex ecosystems.
At the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC), I lead digital learning experience design across an environment serving 60,000+ learners and 1,000+ courses.
I’ve learned that the hardest design problems aren’t about interfaces. They’re about alignment. When teams share clear priorities and constraints, they move faster and build solutions that last.
Of course, there’s more to life than work.
I have a beautiful, brilliant wife who frequently beats me at Smash Up and loves that Survivor show. And an adorable, hilarious son who has recently taken to theater and improv, though Minecraft is still in heavy rotation.
In my free time, you might find me watching terrible made-for-TV movies, playing tabletop role-playing games, and enjoying the occasional nap (just not at work, of course).
And yes, I drink a lot of coffee.
